Hello there, @Chantilly1.
You recently read a post or article in QuickBooks Online, that's why you're unable to see this tab in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
You're on the right track in matching transactions from your bank to your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise. You can select Bank Feeds to choose a bank account and match or approve those transactions to be saved in your register.
On the Transaction List, you can see items highlighted in yellow and blue. Yellow indicates that those transactions are new to QuickBooks. You've got a lot of options to deal with these like matching them manually with those existing transactions and add more details in QuickBooks. The blue ones are recognized transactions or automatically matched in QuickBooks.
Also, when QuickBooks find the match with those items, make sure to review them. You can assign, add, match, and enter more details on the items downloaded from your bank.
Here's how to manually match transactions:
- To start, go to the Banking menu.
- Select Bank Feeds and then Bank Feeds Center.
- Choose the bank account and then click Transaction List to review the items.
- Check the box of the transaction you wanted to match and then click the Select drop-down list on the Action column.
- Select Match to Existing Transaction and then choose the item to match with bank transactions.
- Click Confirm Match and then choose OK to confirm.
I'll add this article for more details on how to add or match transactions you downloaded into QuickBooks: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop. It includes links of short articles to learn more about Bank Feeds.
