You can prevent bank and credit card fraud when processing invoice payment by knowing how to protect your business from it.
- Get to know your card security features. They have unique features to help identify fraudulent cards and protect you from fraud.
- Check the cardholder's identity. It’ll be best to compare the signature on the driver's license or ID card with that on the sales slip.
- Let them sign the sales slips and void the transaction if they refuse to do it.
- As much as possible, don't refund credit card transactions with cash.
