How do I print a Sales tax Summary Report?

Hello Every one

I need to process a detail 1st quater sales tax worksheet. I need to print a sales tax report with detail

for each customer invoice with sales tax or not... I don't know how to do this in quickbooks. PLEASE HELP ME.

I can help show you how to generate a report in QuickBooks with all the details you need.


Since we don't have the option to customize the Display Columns for Sales Tax Summary according to your preferences, we can pull up the Income Tax Detail instead. Let me show you how:


  1. Go to Reports menu.
  2. Select Accountant & Taxes and click the Income Tax Detail.
  3. Filter the Dates, then click the Customize Report tab.
  4. On the Display Columns, put a check mark next to each column that you want to appear in the report. 
  5. Once done, click the Filters tab.
  6. Filter Name to All customers/jobs and Transaction Type to Invoice on the Choose Filter panel.
  7. Click OK when finished.




This will show all the invoices for your customers for the 1st quarter with Taxable and Non-Taxable Sales.
