Thanks for getting back to us, @toddlerner.

The option to only show the Chart of Accounts total amounts for the current fiscal year is currently unavailable. As a workaround, you can manually open each account's register and type the date in the search field to filter the transactions.

Once done, click the Print option at the top right. You can do the same steps for the other accounts.

You can also check out this PDF file for further guidance on managing your QBDT for Mac: QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2020 User's Guide.

Please let me know in the comment section below if you have any additional concerns. I'll be here to help. Have a great day!

Hi @toddlerner,

I'll handle this query for you.

The option to print a selection of accounts from your Chart of Accounts is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. What you can do is print your whole Chart of Accounts.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Press Command+P.
  4. Click Print.

I'll also share this online PDF file for you: QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2020 User's Guide

Feel free to tag me in the comments if you have other questions. I'll be sure to get back to you.

Hi there, @ toddlerner

You can run the summary reports to ensure the total amount of the current fiscal year.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Search for the Summary reports in the search box.
  3. Click on the Customize button.
  4. Click on the Filter drop-down and select Memo
  5. Click on the Run report button.

In addition, you can customize these reports to easily review the transactions that matter the most to your business. You can also memorize them to save their customized settings.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to be of assistance. Just place your concern by clicking Reply and I'll get back to you. Wishing you and your business continued success in all that you do.
