How do I rectify an opening balance equity from another account? We have two shops and there are getting muddied some how in quick books online.

Quick Books online assigned an opening balance to my account that is from a separate entity, how do I remove the opening balance equity without QB trying to rectify?

How do I rectify an opening balance equity from another account? We have two shops and there are getting muddied some how in quick books online.

The only way that happens is you either made an improper entry, or you are keeping the books for two entities in one accounting file.

 

One entity, means one accounting file
