How do I remove a "mileage type"? I accidentally created a type to categorize, but realized afterwards there was already a "type" in existence that I'd prefer to use.

I don't want to create two "types" for the same drive.

I'll help you get rid of that duplicate, thithere-alliemsl.

To remove the mileage type or trip purpose you've accidentally entered, you can update or delete the mileage rule you use to categorize your trips. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Mileage menu.
  2. Select Manage Mileage Rules from the Add trip drop-down menu.
  3. Locate and then the rule with duplicate mileage type.
  4. Change mileage type or trip purpose and then select Save or choose Delete to remove the rule.
