How do I stop automatic printing of reconciliation reports. It no longer gives me the option pop-up window box that allows you to Display, Print, or Close like it used to. I am using Quickbooks for Mac 2016

I've gathered steps that will help you fix the automatic printing of the reconciliation report. Let's start with updating the installation of your QuickBooks Mac. This will fix the damaged files that cause odd behaviors when working in the program. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Desktop menu.
  2. Select Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  3. If a newer version of the update is available, select Install Update.
  4. If prompted, click Install and Relaunch.
  5. When the update is complete, QuickBooks Mac will automatically open.

Then, go back to the report and see if it now gives you the Display, Print, or Close options. If you get the same result, proceed with updating your Adobe Reader. You can also give us a call so we can take a closer look on what's causing this.

 

Here's how to get out phone number:

  2. Select QuickBooks Mac Desktop.
  3. Click the Using QuickBooks for Mac topic.
