How do we retain data from old merchant account when opening new account due to ownership change?

I hope your week is going well so far. After looking further into this request, I've discovered that if the account is in another individual's name, or the account is already closed, then there isn't a way to retain that data. I can personally submit feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this access to an old merchant account in one of the new releases for QuickBooks. They take this feedback seriously and try to accommodate every customer using a merchant account.
