How do you change the merchant name on a transaction that was pulled incorrectly from the bank statement

QuickBooks Self-employed is reliant on the information shared by their bank, such as merchant name. But if you can see an option to edit then you can change the merchant name. Here's how:

1. From the left pane, go to the Transactions menu.
2. Select the Reviewed tab.
3. Locate the transaction to edit.
4. Select Edit.
5. Perform changes.
6. Select Save.
