How do you "save" in QB-online. I Logged Out and lost my work

I'll help you save your work, @rleyva.

Every time you create a work like a sale or expense, there's an option for you on the lower right corner of the transaction window to Save it or choose other saving choices. Usually, the green button on the lower-right corner is where you can find the save button on some window features.

I've added screenshots for visual reference.

When saving customized reports, you can click the Save customization button on the top right of the window. Thus, the same statement will be stored under the Custom reports tab in the Reports menu.

Also, here's how you can change the default Save option when creating a transaction:

  1. Click the Create menu and select the transaction type.
  2. Enter the transaction details.
  3. Click the drop-down menu next to the Save and send button.
  4. Select Save and close.

The next time you create the transaction, the Save and close will be the default option when saving it.

Additionally, you can change the sign out time after being inactive for a while. Just go to Gear and then Account and settings. In Advanced settings, under Other preferences, change the time to sign out after being inactive for a specific hour/s. You may check out this article to learn more setting adjustment details.

If there's anything else I can assist you with saving works in QuickBooks, let me know. I'm always here to lend a hand. Have a good one.
