How to categorize rent I collect for a landlord, and rent payment I pay to the landlord where I am the property manager

I can share some information about recording transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

When adding the rent payments in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), you can either tag them as Business or Personal if it's not related to company income or expenses. For the categories, I suggest choosing the closest one that makes the most sense to you.
