How to change Purchase Order number manually?

Changing your Purchase Order number manually is a breeze, the steps below will help you accomplish this:


Editing Purchase Order Numbers

  1. Begin by making sure the setting is enabled from the Gear icon (⚙) > Account and Settings > Expenses tab > click on Purchase Orders > check Custom transaction numbers > click Done.
  2. Navigate to the Purchase Order you'd like to update and open it.
  3. Edit the value under PO no. Once finished, click Save and close.

New to your program. Like it so far. BUT when creating a new PO I cant give it to the vendor in their online cart if I can not see it till I close and save my work then reopen it. ? And then finish entering info into PO.

I’m happy to help you with viewing the purchase order number. You can set the Customer Purchase Order Numbers on invoices automatically.


Here’s how:


  1. Locate the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Sales tab and find the Sales form content section.
  3. Mark the Custom transaction numbers box.
  4. Pick Save and Done.
