How do I create a report showing "other income" only?  I am using Quickbooks Desktop.

How to create a report of "Other Income?"

Hello, @Amberwaves95.

 

Running a report showing "Other Income" only can be done with ease. I'm happy to show you the steps.

 

You can create a custom transaction detail report to show Other Income transactions only. Follow these instructions below:

 

  1. Head to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Custom Reports and then Transaction Detail.
  3. In the Modify Report window, set the date range under the Display tab.
  4. Go to the Filters tab.
  5. Choose Account from the filters.
  6. Click the Account drop-down menu and pick All Other Income.
  7. Hit OK.

 

After that, you'll want to save its customization settings by clicking on the Memorize button. This way, you can easily access this report in the Report Center.
