How to edit a previously entered journal entry

It only takes a few easy steps to edit a journal entry in QuickBooks, @userbhbodtreas.

Journal entries are one of the components of any accounting process. You can follow these instructions to modify your previously entered journal entry in the system:


  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the account where the event fall under.
  3. Click View register.
  4. Under your Register, select the event.
  5. Press Edit,then change the details.
  6. Hit Save after.

In case you need single or multiple copies of your journal entry report in the future, you can use this reference to print them.
