How to record store returns

Hi @silvasquard,

 

Let me walk you through on how you can record store returns, as well as the refund that comes along with it.

 

You can create a Refund receipt transaction to record returns. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the + New menu.
  2. Select Refund receipt.
  3. Choose the customer in question under the Customer drop-down menu.
  4. On the Refund From drop-down menu, choose the bank account where you deposited the payment.
  5. (Optional) Enter a Payment method.
  6. Enter all the products the customer returned, along with services.
  7. Ensure all amounts entered are correct. 
  8. When done, hit Save and close.

Any inventory product included in the refund receipt transaction will be recorded as an addition to its respective stock amount.
