It's great to see a new face here in the Community. I'd be glad to offer my assistance with your customer's info. Let me provide you with some basic information about how your books convert over from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Customers and jobs
- The entire Ship To Address will be placed in the main address field, leaving the City, State/Province, ZIP code, and Country blank.
- The jobs you had before will be listed as sub-customers.
Here's all the info that will convert to QBO:
- Customer
- Company Name
- Mr./Ms.
- First Name
- M.I.
- Last Name
- Phone
- FAX
- Alt Ph.
- E-Mail
- Terms
- Bill to Address (except Note)
- Ship To Address (except Note)
- Tax code/item
- Preferred Payment Method
- Note (up to 4000 characters)
Here are things that won't convert to QBO:
- Projected End
- End Date
- Job Description
- Job Type
- Credit Card Information
- Account
- Credit Limit
- Job Status
- Start Date
- Customer Type
- Rep
- Price Level
- Custom Fields
- Inactive status (this status remains as long as there are no unbilled charges imported)
- Contact
- Alt. Contact
