How would I save multiple templates without having to edit each? I need a template for Quote, Sales order, & Invoice. I don't want them to be recurring for each customer.

Hi there, @amanda9!

You have the option to import and customize your sales form template. I'm here to help you accomplish this.

First off, you can only import your created invoice and quote or estimate template. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Select New Style and then choose Import style.
  4. From the Save and upload your file. field, click the Paper Clip icon.
  5. Find and select your saved invoice template.
  6. Hit Open or Upload and then Next.
  7. Match your field with the QuickBooks fields.
  8. Click Next and then Save.
  9. Enter the name of your invoice or estimate template.
  10. Hit Save.

Once completed, you can now successfully import and use your invoice template without wasting your time in editing it.

Here's an article you can read to learn more about importing you invoice template: Import Custom Form Styles for Invoices or Estimates.

Lastly, you can customize your sales form template within your QuickBooks. But please know that you'll have to manually customize each of your sales forms template.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New style.
  4. Select a sales form that you want to customize its template.
  5. Make the necessary changes of your sales form template.
  6. Click Done.

Once completed, you'll now be able to customize your sales form template and use them when creating your sales transaction.

In addition, I've included our detailed guide in customizing your sales forms.

Fill me in if you have any other questions about your sales forms. It'll be always my pleasure to lend you a helping hand.
