I all ready ordered and received new checks. How do I reset the check number to remind me to reorder checks? It keep asking me to reorder checks.

I all ready ordered and received new checks. How do I reset the check number to remind me to reorder checks? It keep asking me to reorder checks.

Hello dr3lyden3,

 

To get rid of this reminder, you’ll want to put a checkmark in the box from a prompt that says “Do not show this message again”.

 

You can assign one check number to reset. This will auto-filled the check number in the next number in sequence from the previous check you just recorded. Here's how:

 

  1. From the QuickBooks menu on top, click File and choose Print Forms.
  2. Select Checks.
  3. Enter the First Check Number in the Field.
  4. Fill in the rest of the check fields.
  5. Click OK to save.
