Yo do not purchase a company, you open a new subscription. one subscription = one company
if you have had the account for less than 60 days you can purge the data and start all over,
Log into your QBO account, then look at your home page URL, it ends with /homepage, replace the homepage with purgecompany and hit enter (this deletes everything in the accounting)
other wise you either delete everything one transaction at a time

My account has been over 60 days. How can I purge company? Thanks!
I am thinking 2 options for your case:
First Option:
1. Open a new account
2. [optional] Utilize the trial period of 3rd party backup tool to copy some of your data from old account to the new one.

3. Cancel the old account
Second Option:
Utilize the 3rd party deleter tool
