I am happy with my selfemployed so far, but wish I could create an estimate w/ notes about services/parts etc. Is there a way to do that, or another quickbooks option?

Once you need to create an Estimate, consider switching to QBO.

If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account or upgrade your plan, you have to pay the regular price.

Hi there, ecosmartlandscap.

The option to create an estimate in QuickBooks Self-Employed isn't available. However, you can try either QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.

Then, you can use either the Memo or Description fields as notes to enter the parts of the services or items.

I've also added these articles for more information about Estimate:
