If you're using QuickBooks Online Mobile App, we can do a few troubleshooting steps to fix this. This will help us keep the application compatible with your device. Let's start by resetting the app data to clear the cache and refresh it into its default state.

Once refreshed, restart your mobile phone, logged back in, and check if you're able to see employees and other information. If you get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
However, if you're accessing QuickBooks Online via a web browser, let's open your account using a private browser to start a new session. Here's how to open a private window in different browsers:
If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main browser and clear its cache to remove the portal's history. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.

I am having the same issue and even opening a private window on my web browser does not rectify the problem. What should I do?

It's good to know you've tried to access it using a private window for your browser.
Only primary admin and company admins has the access rights to view and manage everything on the account. If you're not the user admin, you can ask the primary or company admin to check your user access level. That might be also be the reason why you can't access anything.
Otherwise, if you're the only admin and can access the account, I recommend contacting our support team to create a ticket and investigate further about the unusual behavior.

I’ve got an update for you, @PJGARD.
I know how convenient it is to perform some of your payroll tasks using your iPad. After July of this year, QuickBooks Online Payroll is no longer accessible in the mobile app, and users will start to experience an inability to this service.
No worries, you'll still have all your data and payroll features through your mobile web browser. Simply log in to your account at qbo.intuit.com. This way, you can continue to process payroll, pay and file taxes, and view employee details all in one place.
