I am writing up an invoice, but the dates are all out of order. I'd like to be able to sort it by date or name of service or description. How do I do that?

Let me assist you with your invoices, info1410.

You have the option to select a date when creating an invoice. All you have to do is to click the Calendar icon in the Invoice date field. The same goes for the Service date and Due date.

We have reports you can pull up like the Invoice List that shows your invoices, ordered by date. We can customize them to get the data you need. You may check these links for more details:

In addition, here's how to create invoices and record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
