I cannot connect my bank account and my bank statements only download as PDF's. How do I get my statement info into quickbooks?

Let's get your bank transactions to be downloaded, drjoneschiro-yah.

We'll need to add or match the bank transactions stated in your bank statement and use the statement as a basis in reconciling the bank or credit card account.

If you're still in the process of connecting your bank, we can connect it through a private browser. Sometimes stored cache files within the main browser cause unexpected behavior, and using a private browser helps us isolate it. Then, you can start connecting your bank account. I suggest that you'll use the bank's URL to connect the correct bank.

If your bank is already connected into QuickBooks however, transactions are not downloading, we can manually update it. Let me show you how:

  1. From the left menu, click Banking or Transactions.
  2. Then, go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the bank and at the upper-right, click Update.

Wait for the update to complete and check if transactions are now downloading. If you get the same thing, you can manually export the transactions from your bank. Save it in a file format that we support like .CSV, .QBO, or.QFX. Then, you can start importing your transactions. For more details, you can use this guide: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once your transactions are now in your bank feeds, you can categorize it and reconcile it afterward.

Feel free to get back to me if you need more help. You take care and have a great day!
