Hello, maggiemoose1-cox.

To start, check which version of TurboTax you have. Make sure you're using the TurboTax Self-Employed or TurboTax Live Self-Employed. You also have to start the export process from the QuickBooks Self-Employed. Otherwise, you'll need to sign out and sign in to the program.

Aside from that, ensure that you are not logged in to any other QuickBooks product. This can cross wires and block data.

Completing the tax checklist in the Annual taxes tab is also a must. If the checklist is still visible, there is more prep to complete before you can export it.

After you export everything, TurboTax asks you to complete a questionnaire. Please follow the onscreen steps for each question to ensure they're all answered.

Once you answered all the questions, you can look for your QuickBooks Self-Employed data. Type “jump to Schedule C” in the search bar to go to the Schedule C section.

If the issue persists, please follow these steps to fix the problem.

  1. Choose Let's get started.
  2. Go to the Income & Expenses tab in TurboTax.
  3. In the Self-employed income and expenses section, click Review.
  4. Examine the data, then tap Looks good.
  5.  Hit Done

If none of these works, reach out to our team to investigate this. They're equipped with tools to determine the main cause of the issue.

I'm adding this article for more details: My QuickBooks Self-Employed data didn't show up in TurboTax Self-Employed.

Additionally, learn what you can't export from QuickBooks Self-Employed to TurboTax Self-Employed. This way, you can review your data to ensure it's accurate.
