Hello there, I can definitely help you get that statement date corrected so your books stay precise.

Since you've already completed the reconciliation, the most direct way to fix the date error is to undo that specific period and redo it with the correct year.

Here's how:

  1. First, click on the Transactions menu and select Reconcile.
  2. Next, click the History by account link located at the top right of the page.
  3. Once you see the list of past reconciliations, locate the one with the incorrect year.
  4. Then, look at the Action column on the far right and select the Undo option from the dropdown menu.
  5. After you confirm the undo, navigate back to the main Reconcile tab.
  6. Finally, restart the reconciliation by entering the correct Statement ending date with the proper year and match your transactions as you did before.

If you can't find the Undo button, it's exclusive to the QuickBooks Online Accountant view. You can invite an accountant to your file, and they can quickly perform the undo for you.
