I created an invoice from an estimate. I added a 2nd line item on the invoice. Only the 1st line item in the invoice is linked to the estimate. How can I link the 2nd? tx
Is there any other way other than deleting the invoice and then adding new item to estimate and then re-create the invoice? When you do this you lose all of the progressive invoice email tracking. Need to be able to change existing estimates and update the corresponding invoice that was already created.
At this time, you'll need to follow the steps provided by my colleague above. Since the invoice is created from the estimate, you'll need to delete the invoice that's been created to edit the estimate. Once you've edited the estimate, you can create a new invoice from the estimate.
