Since you don't want to pay monthly fees and still want to access QuickBooks Online (QBO) information, you can cancel your subscription. Once canceled, you still have read-only access to your data for one year.
Here's how to do it:
In QBO, go to the Gear icon at the top right to get to the Account and Settings.
Click the Billing and subscription tab at the left pane, then tick Cancel subscription or Cancel online in the QuickBooks section.
Select Continue to cancel and follow the on-screen instructions.
Choose Submit and cancel subscription, then hit Got it.

If you need to keep a real QuickBooks, you may need to convert to Desktop first and also print/export all the reports and lists you may need. And then only, you may want to cancel your QBO subscription.
