I've got the steps you'll need on how to fix this, cisaacson1.
QuickBooks automatically populates the email address into the 1099 info from the prior year, even though you'll delete the email address in QB vendor information. Here's what you can do to fix this.
That should do it! If there's anything else I can help you with, please add them in a comment below. I'll be around to help.

Thanks, Glinette~that worked great!
It's great that there is a fix. I have a 1099 recipient breathing down my neck and it's not fun. So in trying to effect this fix, I can't get to the 1099 E-File Services screen I beleive that if I could just find that screen, then I'd be able to follow the steps that you are advising.
thanks.
Hi SolarWill!
Thanks for joining this thread. Let me assist you in filing 1099.
On the fifth step on preparing the 1099 in QuickBooks Online, you'll need to select E-file for me. Then, you'll be sent to the 1099 E-File Services page. From there, you can follow the steps shared by GlinetteC.
Here's the article for your reference: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online.
Also, I added this link if you have more 1099-related questions: Get answers to your 1099 questions.
Keep on posting here if you need more assistance with this. Take care!
