I did't create invoice for an entered billable expense, & the "create invoice" icon for that expense now disappeared. How can I create invoice for that expense?

I did't create invoice for an entered billable expense, & the "create invoice" icon for that expense now disappeared. How can I create invoice for that expense?

You can manually create an invoice to add the billable expense, manir15239.

 

When creating a billable expense in QBO, there's no Create Invoice option. The invoice will have to be recorded separately, so you can add the expense.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click the Plus icon.
  2. Under Customers, select Invoice.
  3. In the Choose a customer field, enter the customer's name. The open billable expense will show on the right side of the screen.
  4. Select Add for the expense you'd like to include in the invoice.
  5. Click Save.
