I dont have recenr activity history. My customers, estimates, invoices are gone, has this happened to anyone else?

Hi there, @mfayettecarpentr.

 

I'll share with you some actions so you're able to see the recent activity history in QuickBooks Online. 

 

I've checked our reports, and it seems there are no similar issues. Let's check the Audit log in your account. From there, you'll see the list of the company's activities, the changes made, and who made them.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Under Tools, click Audit Log.
  3. Hit the Filter button at the top left of the screen.
  4. Then choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to review.
  5. Tap Apply.

Once confirmed that there are no deleted transactions, I'd suggest doing troubleshooting steps to confine the difficulty. Sometimes a browser full of cache and temp files can cause unexpected behaviors. 

 

To begin, let's log in to your QBO account via incognito to isolate the problem. You may use these shortcut keys: 

 

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

 

Once you've logged in, re-check your recent activity history if it's already performing appropriately. If that works, please clear the cache of your usual browser. Using other supported browsers is a great option too. 

 

Furthermore, you might want to check any reports by going to the Reports tab to review all the data. Then customize it to show the specific details.  

 

If the concern remains, I'd advise interacting with our Customer Care Team. They have the tools to investigate the root cause of the problem and create an investigation if necessary.

  1. Go to the Help menu, then choose Contact Us
  2. Type your concern in the box, then hit Let's talk
  3. Choose either Get a call or Start a chat
