I had no inputs for a full quarter in mid 2020. Have you seen any glitches or have ways to retrieve data?

If there are bugs, I've come to squish them, @jamie-bandos.

Are you referring to the missing transactions? If so, let’s check the status of the bank account to which the transaction is attached. If it is hidden, transactions will be removed from the Transactions menu.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Bank Accounts.
  2. Find the account where the transactions belong.
  3. From the Show Account section, hit the toggle to ONqbse2.JPG
  4. When done, return to the Transactions menu and see if you can now see the transactions.

If the same result, let's also update your bank to refresh the connection:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click the Refresh all button. qbse2a.JPG

If there are still no inputs, let’s now determine if this is a browser -related issue. To start, access your QBSE account using a private mode. There are times when the cache and cookies in your browser may be corrupted which leads to navigation issues. The following are the shortcut keys you can use:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once done, open your Transactions menu and check if you can find the inputs for mid-2020:

  1. Head to the Transactions menu.
  2. From the Accounts drop-down arrow select the bank account where transactions are in.
  3. In the Date field, choose Custom date and type the specific date for mid-2020.  qbse3.JPG

Then, here's a helpful guide to assists you in reviewing and categorizing your transactions in QBSE. To get started, see this article: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know how this goes and leave a response below if you have further questions in accessing your QBSE data. I'm always around to help. Have a good one.
