I had to add billing information to switch accountants. The switch took place in under 24 hrs, but my credit card was charged $42.64. How can i get this credited back?

I had to add billing information to switch accountants. The switch took place in under 24 hrs, but my credit card was charged $42.64. How can i get this credited back?

I'm here to help you out here, @sharpe-marc.

 

To switch to QuickBooks Online Accountant billing, you'll need first to invite your accountant. So you'll be added to their client list.

 

To invite an accountant, here's how:

 

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙ at the top.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Go to the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Hit the Invite button. 
  5. Complete the required fields and pick Save.

Please keep in mind that you can only invite up to 2 accountants. Once done, the accountant will receive an email invitation that they need to accept. From there, they'll set up your account for wholesale billing. 

 

As for the charged into your account, I recommend contacting our Customer Care support, as they have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and check your billing information. 

 

To contact our Customer support, here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company account.
  2. Click the Help icon on the top right.
  3. Click Contact Us button at the bottom.
  4. Enter a short description about your concern.
  5. Click on Let's talk.
  6. Choose the method on how you'd be connected to support.
