I have a penny balance from a customer. Paid with check. Can I delete the penny?

I have a penny balance from a customer. Paid with check. Can I delete the penny?

The penny balance from your customer is a personal choice whether or not you want to keep it. Although you may wish to consult with your accountant before you make that decision. I've listed the steps below to help you out if you decide to delete it:

  1. Navigate to the Invoicing tab and click Customers.
  2. Select the customer with the penny balance.
  3. Locate the Transaction List and find the transaction that shows a penny.
  4. Press the drop-down arrow and choose Delete.

I suggest making a note when you delete the balance just in case something is off by a penny in the future. That way, you know why it's off and what caused it.
