I'll be delighted to guide you in changing its status.

 

Once you receive the customer payment, the status of the invoice automatically become Paid. After that, you'll have to create a bank deposit to combine the payments in QuickBooks and mark the invoice as Deposited. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Choose Bank Deposit.
  3. From the Account drop-down menu, select the account you want to put the money into.
  4. Tick the checkbox for each invoice payment you want to combine.
  5. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip.
  6. Click Save and close.

Need to track all the invoices that are due on a particular day? You can customize your Transaction Detail By Account report.

I am having the same issue, customer paid with a credit card and the status still shows paid in review, but the money shows in my check register.  It doesn't show in the deposit section like your instructions say. paid in review.JPG

I have a similar issue a customer paid with credit card in Dec and it still shows a status of paid in review. how do I get that status updated.

Thanks for posting here and including a screenshot along with the details you shared.

 

I want to help you update the payment status of an invoice in QuickBooks. However, we have reported about the invoice still showing as Paid. They're working on it and conducting a further investigation.

 

With that, I'd recommend giving us a short call to add your company details to one of the affected users. Here's how:

 

  1. Within your QBO account, go to Help at the upper-right corner.
  2. In the Search tab, click Contact us.
  3. You'll be asked to enter a brief description of your concern.
  4. Click Continue
  5. Select Chat with us , Have us call you, or Call us
