That's weird. When you update the information in QuickBooks Online, it will be used moving forward.
Let's try to update again, and if the error persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support to check your account.
- Click the Gear icon.
- Under Your Company, click Account and Settings.
- In the Company tab, maximize the Contact info section.
- Update the Company email and the Customer-facing email.
- Click Save and then Done.
