I have old (prior years) AP (Bills) that need to be cleared. I have found that most are in error. How do I clear them in the current period

I have the steps to help you achieve this, @treasurer97.

Let’s go to the Expenses menu and manually clear those incorrect bills. I’d be glad to guide how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
2. Go to the Expenses menu and select the Expenses tab.
3. Click the Filter button.
4. Select Bill as the transaction type under the Type drop-down menu.
5. From the Date drop-down menu, select Last year or customize your preferred date.
6. Enter the needed customization if necessary and click Apply. 
7. Locate and click the bill you want to be cleared.
8. Click Delete from the drop-down menu under the Action column (optional).
