I have received several notifications that customers made an overpayment, when they actually paid the exact amount they were supposed to pay. Is that not a bit weird?

I have received several notifications that customers made an overpayment, when they actually paid the exact amount they were supposed to pay. Is that not a bit weird?

There is an ongoing investigation for QuickBooks Payments users getting overpayment notifications. Our engineers are running some diagnostics to identify what's causing this issue to provide a permanent fix as soon as possible.

 

I would recommend contacting our Phone Support Team, so they can add you to our notification list. Provide the investigation number INV-37222 to our representatives. Updates will be rolled out through emails when available.

 

Here's how to contact support:

 

  1. On the QBO Dashboard, click the Help (?) icon at the top right.
  2. Select Contact Us at the bottom to connect with our live support.
