I have several subcustomers under an account. Each subcustomer has a Company Name. The delayed charges showed on the parent invoice but not the subcustomer name. Why?

Each subcustomer is marked "Bill with Parent". I created the Delayed Charges so that I could bill the subcustomers with the Parent. I need the invoice to show the subtotals for each subcustomer.

Hi @suzanne-barrett,

In QuickBooks Online (QBO). you have the option to make the name of the parent and sub-customer appear on the same invoice.

You'll need to create separate Delayed charge transactions for your parent customer and their sub-customers. This will allow you to show the name of the customer and their sub-customers on the same invoice, along with their respective sub-totals.

When you're ready to create an invoice, you need to select the parent customer on the Customer drop-down menu. You'll then see all available delayed charges for the parent and its sub-customers on the right side of the page. Hit the Add button to all delayed charges you want to include in the invoice.

I suggest you take a look at this article for additional information on this process: What does the bill with parent feature let you do on invoices?
