I have transactions appearing in an account that shouldn't be there.

I am cleaning up our chart of accounts and went to deactivate two. The system says I can't due to "billable items" being in there. The expenses have

I have transactions appearing in an account that shouldn't be there.

Hi CCollie,

 

You'll want to make sure that you've deleted the transactions to deactivate successfully the account.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Accounting on the left menu,
  2. Choose the account.
  3. Click View register.
  4. Go through each transaction, click Delete.
  5. Click Yes.

Once done, you can deactivate the account.
