I just changed the business address of the company. Why does it not reflect on past pay statements?

Welcome to the Community, @susanrmasters74

Changing the business address of the company in the Account and Settings page won't reflect on the past pay statements or pay stubs unless you update the Work Locations in the Payroll settings page.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu, then select Payroll Settings.
  2. In the Company and Account section, select Work Locations.
  3. If the old location and the new location are in the same state, select the address link to edit the address. Otherwise, select Add a Work Location
  4. Enter the work location address.
  5. Click Save.

Once done, your new company address will now be reflected on the past pay stubs.

Just in case, here's an article should you need to change a primary work address to a different state. It helps you learn any thing you'll need to know when you're updating your work location to a different state.

Feel free to visit again should you need anything else about QuickBooks. I'd be delighted to be your guide.

I don't see  Company and Account section or  Work Locations in my payroll settings. Is there some other way to do this?

Good day, VIP99.

I understand that you want to change the business address on your past pay statements. Though it seems that you're using a full-service payroll that's why you can't see the work locations in the payroll settings. It's best to seek some help from our Payroll Specialist so they can further assist you with it.

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Contact Us.
  2. Enter Work Locations, then click Let's talk.
  3. Choose either to Start a message or Get a callback.

Here are some of the articles about payroll you'll want to check:
