I just upgraded my QB account to send out e-invoices. Can a staff person walk me through the process?

QB downloaded my files to the electronic version. I now need a staff person to walk me through the next steps and to help me send out an e-invoice. Can I talk to real person please?

I just upgraded my QB account to send out e-invoices. Can a staff person walk me through the process?

I'd be glad to help you set up your account, lynn40.

 

Before sending out invoices, let's add your customer first. Here's how:

  1. Click Sales on the left pane.
  2. Select Customers.
  3. Select New Customer.
  4. Enter your customer’s info.
  5. Select Save.

Then. proceed to these steps to send out an invoice:

  1. Click + New on the left pane.
  2. Then select Invoice or Send Invoice.
  3. From the Customer dropdown, select a customer.
  4. Review the Invoice date.
  5. From the Product/Service column, select a product or service. You can also select +Add new to create a new product or service right from the invoice.
  6. Enter a quantity, rate and change amount if needed.
  7. Select the Tax checkbox if you need to charge sales tax.
  8. When you're ready to send the invoice, select Save and send.

If you use QuickBooks Payments, customers can pay their invoices directly by credit card or ACH transfer

If you still need to be in contact with our phone support, here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter setting up QBO.
  4. Click Let’s talk.
  5. Select Get a callback
  6. Type in your contact info.
  7. Select Confirm my call.
