Hello, @valerie16

If you’re subscribed to QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can import multiple invoices at once. You can do it by providing all the information needed in a spreadsheet.

The required columns for your spreadsheet are invoice number, customer, invoice date, due date, item amount and item tax code.

After preparing it, turn on custom transaction numbers from your Account and Settings. You can now upload your spreadsheet. For detailed guidance, check this article: Import multiple invoices at once.

But if you’re subscribed to either QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials or Plus. Then, the feature to import your invoices is still unavailable.

As a workaround, you may enter them to your account one-by-one. See the following for more information: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.

When I attempt to import invoices I get a 404 page not found message.  I have tried on in-private browsers, multiple different browsers, multiple computers,  and have cleared my cookies.  It works in one of my accounts but not in the other.

What could be causing this issue.

I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you've performed, Miles76.

I've checked if there are similar reported issues but found none. If you're using the QuickBooks Desktop App, we can try resetting the app's data. Here's how:

  1. Click Help.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app.
  4. Be sure to right-click the app and Run as Administrator when re-opening.

If it doesn't work, I'd suggest reinstalling the program. If you're getting the same results after resetting and reinstalling it, I highly recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support Team so they can further investigate what's causing this error.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Click Help.
  2. Select Contact us.
  3. Enter the "error 404" when importing invoices as your concern.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Choose either to Start a message or Get a callback.

Please keep me posted with the result. I want to make sure this is taken care of.
