Join nowHi @julie-bischoff,
There's a specific type of journal entries (JE) from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) that aren't imported to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Any JE from a QBDT company that has a billable status doesn't convert to QBO. This feature of tagging a JE as billable is unavailable in QBO. If you have several, what I can suggest is for you to look into our QuickBooks Apps Store and look for a third-party app that can provide you this function.
Otherwise, you can manually enter these into your QBO company. It's best to consult your bookkeeper or accountant on how you can proceed to record these types of transactions.
I'll also share this article with you: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. It's a complete list of things from your QBDT company, along with a short description of how they convert to QBO.
Have other questions in mind about the conversion process of your QBDT company? Post them below, and I'll take care of it for you.
