I need an explanation on the time it takes funds to be available and why certain ones that are paid sooner are available sooner vs others paid previously.

There are a few possible reasons why certain payment takes time to be available in your account, rich41.

 

We deposit your funds within five business days after your first payment. Your first deposit may take a bit longer while we set up your merchant account. After the setup, payments will be quicker and will usually take within two business days. 

 

Also, for bank transfer (ACH) payment deposits takes 2-7 business days. Much longer for credit card payment deposits which takes 1-2 business days. 

 

If you have a Merchant account with us, we can try logging in to your account to see the activity time frame. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to https://merchantcenter.intuit.com.
  2. From the top menu, click Activity & Reports.
  3. Click Transactions.
  4. From the drop-down menu, choose your search criteria: Specific date Range of dates, etc.

You'll also want to contact Merchant Services (Payments) to verify why funds aren't showing in your bank account. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment.

 

For your reference, you can pull up the Transaction List by Customer report to see all the transactions and subtotals for income and expenses per customer.
