I’d like to provide you with steps to manage user role permissions for accessing timesheets in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we have a Time Tracking role that allows invited users to track their own timesheets. Since you want users to be able to track timesheets for others as well, you can assign them the Standard Limited Customers and Vendors role. This role enables users to view, add, and edit entries and reports related to customers, vendors, products, and services.

I am still in need of assistance of how timesheets are done for contractors by those users that the instructions were provided for inviting. Also there is a desire to limit what they can see but have it where they have access to only doing time cards for contractors.
