I need help updating subscription; billing page and payment information will not load

Since you aren't able to see the billing page and payment information in your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, I suggest you do basic troubleshooting steps such as using a private browser to determine if it's a browser-related issue. Here are the lists of the shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: press CTRL  Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: Press CTRL  Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

 

Also, you can clear cache and cookies to delete previously remembered information by your browser.

 

Moreover, updating the billing and subscription information has been made easy for you with QuickBooks Self-Employed. I'll walk you through how:

 

  1. Go to the Settings ⚙ menu then click Billing info.
  2. Select Edit ✎ in the Payment Information section.
  3. Update the credit card information.
  4. Choose the checkbox off-screen to confirm your subscription. Note: If not checked, you will get an error “Invalid data. Please double-check the information below”.
  5. Fill out the current and correct address in the Next section to update your billing address.
  6. Click Update and Close (X) once done.

Thanks for all the help. I have tried using two different browsers, both Chrome and Safari. I used private browsing and cleared the cache each time. The billing page loads blank. This is also happening in the iPhone app when I try to select "Manage Subscription".

In this case, please contact our Chat or Phone Support Team. They'll can verify your account details and update the billing details for you.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click Assistant in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Enter the same keyword (Talk to a human) when prompted. 
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select between Message an agent and Get a callback.
