I'm here to help you change the pay period in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let's begin:
- Go to the Employees menu, then Payroll Center.
- Under the Create Paychecks table, select the payroll schedule you want to update.
- From the Payroll Schedules drop-down, press Edit Schedule.
- Make the necessary updates in the Edit Payroll Schedule window.
- Note: When you see the warning, choose Yes to update the payroll schedule for all the employees assigned to it.
- Hit OK.
