You can use the Projects feature to help you stay organized and track purchase orders you created for your vendors. However, you can only have one (1) Purchase Order (PO) per vendor at the same time. You'll want to create a different PO's for your vendors.
Also, please know that this is only available in QuickBooks Online Plus, Advanced, and Accountant version.
On the other hand, here's how to turn on the Projects feature:
Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Find the Projects section and select Edit ✎ to expand it.
Select the Organize all job-related activity in one place checkbox.
