I need to purge the company info for my ACCT class but I get a message it has been 60 days so I can't. Intuit also won't let me create a new account. How do I fix this?

I need to purge the company info for my ACCT class but I get a message it has been 60 days so I can't. Intuit also won't let me create a new account. How do I fix this?

Hi smccauley2,

 

You can only purge the account if it is active for less than 60 days. Please see this article: Deleting online data and starting over. If you're getting an error when creating a new account, you can try following these steps:

  1. Go to quickbooks.intuit.com/signup/.
  2. Choose the plan and select the Free trial for 30 days or Buy now option.
  3. Under the Sign Up With Email button, click the Sign in link beside Adding a company to an existing account?.
  4. Fill in the Email address and Password.
  5. Click Sign In.
  6. Enter your business information and click Next.
  7. Select the features under What would you like to do in QuickBooks?, and click Next.
  8. Click All Set.
