Thanks for contacting the Community forum, @mikegeer.

There’s currently an open investigation about this specific issue and our engineers are aware of it. They recommend using the solutions in the article (Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop) until a permanent solution is found.

You can start by downloading and installing the QuickBooks Tools Hub. Here’s how:

  1. Close QuickBooks, including all the programs running in the background.
  2. Download the Tool Hub file and save it in a folder where you can easily find it.
  3. Open the downloaded QuickBooksToolHub.exe file.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the tool hub and open it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.

Once done, run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the QuickBooks Tools Hub and click Program Problems.
  2. Pick the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool.
  3. The program will run for a minute. Once done, try emailing the statements again.

Check out this article for the details: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop. In the same link, you’ll find additional troubleshooting steps that can help fix the issue.

I also recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to add your account to the list of affected users. Please have our representative link your case number to INV-0670. You’ll be notified through email once an update is received.

Here's how to contact support:

  1. Go to the Help menu at the top and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
